The General Accounting Office has noted in a report that EPA should consider vapor intrusion in evaluating the listing of federal Superfund sites. The report is entitled Superfund: EPA's Costs to Remediate Existing and Future Sites. EPA representatives reportedly told GAO representatives that 23 more sites would be listed if EPA considered vapor intrusion risks in their listing criteria.
