Al Gore and the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Win Nobel Prize

Former Vice President Al Gore and the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts to build and spread knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
